Gauri's Journey to Success
Gauri, born in 2003, had a tough childhood. She lived on the streets, rag-picked, and stole bricks to sell. Her father's alcoholism and mother's struggles to make ends meet often left them hungry. But everything changed when Gauri joined BGVS Rainbow Home. She learned to read and write, went to school, and discovered new skills like dancing, singing, stitching and karate. She blossomed into a humble and smart girl, passing her 10th, 12th and B.A degree, she set a great example before her juniors and before her community as well. Gauri's transformation inspired her mother to value education and speak out against child marriage. Her mother now runs a small business and advocates for education in their community. After turning 18, Gauri left Rainbow Home and got married to an educated man of her choice, who supports her goals. She's preparing for competitive exams and working hard to build a bright career. Gauri's story shows how education and support can transform lives and empower individuals to create a better future.
