From Streets to Stability: Anjali's Journey to Success
Anjali, born in 2004, faced a childhood marked by poverty, abuse, and exploitation. Living on the streets of Jagdev Path, she was forced to drop out of school after class 3 to support her family. Her father's alcoholism and abuse left her feeling unsafe and responsible for her family's well-being. But Anjali's life took a turning point when she joined BGVS Rainbow Home on 23/08/2013. She thrived in the supportive environment, excelling in school and extracurricular activities. She passed her 10th grade with good marks. Seeing the scarcity in the family, she wanted to start earning. With the help of Rainbow Home, she got an opportunity to learn a vocational course from Sathiya Organization in Bangalore. She excitedly grasped the opportunity and went to Bangalore and pursued a vocational course in hospitality. Anjali's determination and hard work paid off when she was placed as a receptionist in a Kodaikanal hotel, earning a salary of 18,000 per month. Her success was short-lived due to family problems, but she didn't give up. She secured a new job in a pharmaceutical company in Himachal Pradesh and took her family with her, providing them a stable and happier life. Anjali's story is a testament to her strength and resilience. From streets to stability, she has overcome incredible obstacles to create a better life for herself and her family. Her ambition and determination will undoubtedly take her further, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps.
