From Rag Picker to Teacher: Sangeeta's Journey to Success
Sangeeta faced a tough childhood. Born in 2000, she was forced to rag pick alongside her siblings to support her mother, who struggled to make ends meet by selling homemade liquor. Despite the odds, Sangeeta's life took a turning point when she joined BGVS Rainbow Home in 2014. With the support of Rainbow Home, Sangeeta transformed her life. She learned to read and write, enrolled in school, and became a studious and disciplined individual. She passed her 10th and 12th grades with a second division and pursued a BA degree. Today, she's a part-time teacher and is determined to complete her final exams in 2025. Sangeeta's success extends beyond her own achievements. Her mother, once unaware of the importance of education and health, is now making her community aware about their rights and entitlements. Meanwhile, Sangita got married, but fortunately, her in-laws are supportive of her education. She's determined to appear for her final exams and is also preparing for various competitive exams to pursue a bright career. BGVS Rainbow Home is proud to have supported Sangeeta's journey. Her determination and hard work are a testament to the power of human potential. We believe Sangeeta will achieve her goals and inspire others to do the same. All the Best, Sangeeta!
