From Housemaid to Hotel Administrator: Jaho's Triumph

Jaho Perween's life was marked by poverty, hardship, and abuse. Her father's alcohol addiction and poor health, combined with her mother's meager earnings as a daily wage laborer, left them on the brink of starvation. But Jaho refused to give up. Despite being forced into child labor as a housemaid, where she faced mental and physical abuse, she held onto hope. Her journey took a turning point when she joined BGVS Rainbow Home in 2016. With the support of Rainbow Home, Jaho transformed her life. She learned to read and write, gained admission to school, and completed her 12th grade with a second division. But Jaho's determination didn't stop there. She pursued a vocational course in F&B services + MOA and was placed as an office administrator at 7 Hills Hotel & Resort in Nalanda. Jaho is proud of her achievements and grateful for the support of Rainbow Home. With the help of awareness meetings with parents, her parents are now conscious of the importance of education, health and hygiene. They have obtained Aayushman cards and managed to receive their treatment. Jaho's story is a shining example of how education and determination can overcome even the most daunting challenges. Today, Jaho is committed to furthering her studies while working in her new role.
